Coming to Health First Foundation from Northern Arizona University, Mark Urick brings with him 20 years of experience working in the non-profit sector with foundations, mostly in the area of higher education.

Before NAU, Mark's career included professional stops at the University of Delaware, the University of Nevada, and Boise State University. At each institution, Mark's department achieved all-time highs in total giving and total donors. 

A native of Iowa, Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of Iowa in 1996 and became a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) with Centriq Training. He lives in Flagstaff with his wife Tanya and two sons, Sebastian (13) and Spencer (11).
